This rebate is for purchasing and installing one of the program’s qualified smart charger models. A smart charger connects to a 240-volt electrical circuit to charge your electric vehicle at about four times the speed of a standard household outlet. The charger is “smart” in that it has a network connection that allows you to easily schedule your charging and participate in managed charging events.

If you are also installing a new 240-volt circuit, please apply for the Wiring Upgrade + New Smart Charger measure combination instead of this measure.

To be eligible for this offer, you must:
1. Connect the charger to the internet (note, this may entail adding a Wi-Fi signal booster if your router is a long way from the charger), and
2. Agree to enroll in ConnectedSolutions managed charging, wherein the program will occasionally send requests to adjust your charging schedule in response to electric grid events. You will receive ongoing incentives of up to $200 per year for participating in these events.
